Rewhen — Privacy Policy
Rewhen collects nothing. There is no account, no server and no analytics, and the app never connects to the internet. Everything you log stays on your iPhone.
Your history stays on your device
Rewhen stores what you enter in the app's own protected storage on your iPhone:
- tracker names, icons, categories and repeat intervals;
- the dates and times you log, and any notes you attach;
- photos you attach to an entry;
- your settings: theme, language, reminder time, app icon, App Lock.
None of it is transmitted anywhere. The developer has no copy of it and no way to get one.
No account
There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to sign in to. Rewhen never asks for your name, email, phone number or any other identifier.
No analytics, no crash reporting, no network
Rewhen contains no analytics, no advertising and no third-party SDKs of any kind. It makes no network requests at all — not for statistics, not for crash reports, not for content. The app works exactly the same with airplane mode on.
Permissions
Every permission is optional, requested only when the feature is used, and declining it leaves the rest of the app fully working.
- Camera — only when you choose to take a photo for an entry. The photo is saved in the app's storage on your device.
- Photo library — only when you pick an existing photo for an entry. Rewhen receives the photos you select and never browses your library.
- Notifications — reminders are local. They are scheduled by your device, with no server involved and no push tokens created.
- Face ID / Touch ID — only if you turn on App Lock, with your device passcode as a fallback. iOS performs the check and tells the app yes or no; Rewhen never sees biometric data or your passcode.
Export and sharing
Settings offer export to CSV and JSON. The file is created on your device and goes wherever you send it. If you share it, the data leaves your device by your own action and is then governed by whatever service you sent it to.
What we do not do
- We do not collect personal data.
- We do not sell or share data — there is none to sell.
- We do not track you across apps or websites.
- We do not use advertising or an advertising identifier.
- We do not build profiles or use your data for training anything.
Third-party processors
None. Rewhen sends data to no one, so no third party processes anything on our behalf. The only company involved is Apple, which distributes the app through the App Store under its own privacy policy. Apple does not receive your Rewhen data.
Retention and deletion
Your data lives only on your device, for as long as you keep it there. Individual entries and trackers can be deleted in the app at any time, and Settings offer to erase everything at once. Deleting the app removes all of it. There is no request to send us and no account to close — we hold nothing.
Children
Rewhen is suitable for all ages. It collects no data, contains no advertising, has no user-to-user communication and no external links to unmoderated content.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this same address with a new effective date. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.

When reporting a problem, it helps to mention your iOS version and what you did right before it happened. Please do not send screenshots containing anything you would rather keep private — we cannot see your data otherwise.
